About
Geoffrey Lokke is a scholar of film, theatre, and literary modernism. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in theatre and performance at Columbia University. His writing has appeared in TDR: The Drama Review, PAJ: A Journal of Performance and Art, and Adaptation, among other scholarly journals. He is at work on a book project devoted to lyric poetry and early documentary film, a career-spanning collection of interviews with the visual artist and filmmaker Steve McQueen, as well as critical editions of W. H. Auden and Christopher Isherwood’s plays. He lives in the Bronx.
